About
Gaana Mangwao Icon

A significant digital and linguistic divide is holding Pakistani music back. Despite a wealth of talent, artists struggle to share their lyrics, making it difficult for audiences worldwide to connect deeply with the music.

Gaana Mangwao was created to change that. By uploading an audio file you can simply order the lyric transcripts of a gaana (song) within seconds.

We are a user-friendly platform dedicated to bridging this divide. At our core, we provide a powerful tool that allows musicians, producers, and fans to instantly and accurately transcribe songs into both Roman Urdu and the authentic Urdu (Nastaliq) script.

Our mission is to advocate language equality in technology, increase the accessibility of Pakistani music, and preserve the rich cultural heritage of Pakistani languages for generations to come.

We intend to expand to other regional languages such as Punjabi, Sindhi, Pashto and Balochi.
